Rare Vintage Magic Maid Steam Iron
This rare Magic Maid Steam Iron is in excellent vintage and working condition.
Temperature settings work great, steam is great, spray mist works extremely good.
There are discoloration marks on the ironing foot, these are smooth and don't catch on the fabric
being ironed, it leaves no marks on white fabrics either.
The steam feature works very well as does the spray mist to get those spots that need a little help.
Magic Maid is made by Son-Chief.

From the design it appears to be made around the late 1950's or 1960's.

Vintage Proctor Silex Steam Iron Model: I 1321
This vintage Proctor Silex Steam Iron is in good used vintage condition.
There is a small part of the top plastic handle broken off some way, this does not interfere or
hamper the operation of this iron. It works very good dry as does the steam part.
The cord is easily reversed so it comes out the other side if desired.
As with most if not all electric irons it has an adjustable thermostat or as some call it settings
for dry ironing and up to the steam setting to get those stubborn wrinkles out.
It's light weight making it easy to handle and reduce the fatigue when you have a lot of ironing to do.
It has 37 steam vents for even distribution of the steam over what you're ironing.
Easily have steam or no steam with the press of a button.
Operates on 120 Volts AC only, 1000 Watts.

Sunbeam Steam Iron Model 3980
A very nice lightly used electric Steam Iron by Sunbeam.
You have the option of steam or regular ironing.
Different temperature settings for the fabric of your choice.
Also has the pump spray mist feature for a difficult area to iron that wrinkle out.
This light weight, easy to use iron is ready for use right out of the shipping box, add water for steam if desired or leave dry,
plug cord into a standard receptacle and start ironing. :)

Wiss Inlaid No. 38 Sewing Scissors 8 inch
The Wiss Company started was started back in 1848 about a year after Swiss immigrant Jacob Wiss, a young cutler
and gunsmith, arrived in Newark, NJ.
His plans were to work in Newark just long enough to raise the money he needed to move to Texas.
Soon after his arrival he started working for Rochus Heinisch, a cutlery and shears manufacturer. Jacob learned about
new developments and made a couple of decisions. First was that he would remain in Newark as he was acquiring a
lot of friends, next was that he would enter the cutlery manufacturing trade himself.
Starting his business in 1848 using a Saint Bernard to power the treadmill that operated his grinding and polishing wheels.
Jacob Wiss was a true artisan and a patient teacher to his employees.
The Wiss brand became well known world wide for its superior quality shears, strength, balance and long lasting cutting edge.
We have a pair of Wiss Inlaid No. 38 Sewing Scissors, these are standard right hand scissors.
These have an overall length of 8 inches, cut length of 3½ inches.

O.V.B.(Our Very Best) Left Hand Sewing Scissors 8 inch
Our Very Best (O.V.B.) dates back to the late 1800's and was a brand sold exclusively by
Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. a hardware company.
HSB & Co. sold a varity of products under the O.V.B. brand. The O.V.B. products were
of very high quality materials and workmanship.
In January 1963 the purchase of the HSB & Co. by Cotter & Co. was completed. HSB & Co.
would no longer be in the hardware business, they would direct their energies to real estate
and other interests.
The scissors here are used and appear to be in good shape.
These have an overall length of 8 inches, cut length of 3½ inches.
These are for left hand operation.
