            Vintage Montgomery Ward TV/AM-FM Radio/Cassette Player-Recorder

                           

            This compact little unit, Montgomery Ward Model: GEN 11189A, has it all, Television, AM-FM Radio,
            Cassette Player/Recorder so it's all set to go.

            I usually refer to this one as the "All-in-One portable enjoyment center", it is used, in very good condition
            and has been throughly tested by our tech team with the results below.

            The TV is Black & White as you can see in the pictures above, you can use an external antenna or use the
            built-in antenna.

            Description: TV: This 5” screen (measured diagonally) TV is Black & White.   
                                AM-FM Radio, volume control, tone control, individual mode switches, TV tuning control,
                                radio tuning control, power on indicator, ports; microphone & remote, aux in, tape out,
                                external speaker, 120 VAC 12 VDC adapter, beat cancel, option of using internal antenna
                                (telescoping antenna at the back) or hook up an external antenna source, [adjustable for
                                the TV function, horizontal hold, vertical hold, contrast, bright, VHF-L (channel 2 – 6,
                                VHF-H (channel 7 – 13), UHF (channel 14 – 83)], 4 way meter (VU/record level, tune, battery),
                                cassette has counter, built-in microphone, 3 battery sleeves, ear bud type ear-piece for
                                private listening, and AC power cord.
 
            We classify this Vintage Montgomery Ward TV/AM-FM Radio/Cassette Player-Recorder to be in very good
            used vintage condition.

            AM-FM radio works great. All frequency bench work, meter functions, volume and tone controls tested OK.
            Cassette has a problem – fast forward doesn't move the tape drive, rewind doesn't move the tape drive,
            Play – sound works Great but the tape doesn't wind up in cassette case – it winds up in the player, this
            could very possibly be a drive belt or belts which should be a fairly easy fix. TV works good, but it could
            only be tested with its own built-in antenna.

            This is a great compact, all-in-one, portable, multi media, enjoyment center to take with you when traveling.
            Like a week-end get-a-way camping trip, at the end of the day just sit back and enjoy for a while.

            It was enjoyed by our family for many years and now it would like to be enjoyed by new family so that it may
            bring joy to them.
