The Ninety-Eight was
produced
exclusively in Lansing, Michigan at the beginning of 1979.
It was re-styled for 1980 and in 1981 introduced Buick's 252 cubic inch V-6 engine as standard, along with the new 4-speed
THM200-4R automatic transmission.
For 1982 a new model was introduced, it was called Regency Brougham.
The LS or Luxuary Sedan was discontinued and the Regency took it's place.

With it's metallic gold exterior, cream velour seats and light beige cut pile carpeting to the high quality simulated wood grain

To our knowledge, we are the second owner of this beautiful 1982 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency.
This car has been kept in a garage ever since it came to our family in 1986.
It has been well maintained and has not been smoked in since it came to us.
It's a very clean, comfortable and well driving car with very low mileage at 86942 (original miles) as of September 2014.
Among the features this car has is the 5.0 litre V-8 optional engine, deluxe steering wheel and deluxe spoke wheel covers.
This is a Rear Wheel Drive vehicle.
