This Heat-R-Fan electric heater Model HF-1 is used and is being sold as is for repair or parts only.
It is made in Hong Kong by The Shetland Company.
This heater will not heat, it needs the repair we described below or use for parts.
The parts that are bad are two Thermofuses, which are used to protect against overheating.
Our technician checked the heater, found the Thermofuses bad then tested the heating element
after jumpering over the Thermofuses to find out it worked fine along with the fan.
The parts that are bad are two Thermofuses, of the proper temperture which you will have to look on the ones
in the heater and install the new ones in the same direction, should only cost about 2 or 3 dollars each.
Make sure to get uninsulated butt splices to make the new connections. After that your heater should work great
unless you need some or all of its parts for another project.
Enjoy the repair or taking it apart for the parts.
